INTENDED USE Designed for the precise in vitro quantitative testing of Veterinary Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) concentrations in whole blood. This test is primarily utilized for auxiliary diagnosis and effective treatment monitoring of veterinary diabetes.
TEST PRINCIPLE The quantitative determination of HbA1c levels in whole blood samples is conducted using the advanced immunofluorescence sandwich methodology. The sample to be tested is mixed thoroughly after being added to the diluent. The prepared sample is then dropped into the test card's sample hole, where the HbA1c within it reacts with the fluorescently labeled HbA1c monoclonal antibody coating the fiberglass membrane to form a complex. Through the process of chromatography, this complex diffuses along the *** membrane with the fluorescently labeled antibody. The complex is captured by the corresponding antibody fixed on the membrane's detection line. The greater the amount of the target substance in the sample, the more complexes are formed in reaction with the fluorescently labeled antibody, and consequently, the more fluorescently labeled antibodies accumulate on the detection line. The instrument then calculates the HbA1c to Hb ratio based on the fluorescence signal intensity.
